How Much Winner earn in World Chess Championship prize money?

The official details for the purse of the tournament is announced, according to reports it’s confirmed that 60% of the purse goes to winner and 40% remaining will be share of runner-up. Since €2m is adjusted fund from which 60% is paid to the winner based on calculated data, €1.2m will be rewarded to the winner of World Chess Championship 2023.
