How Much Winner Earn from Grand National Prize Money?

As per reports the official prize money for the Grand National in 2023 will be £1m. Which is equally distributed among first 10 position holders in the competition. Noble Yeats is the current defending champion, the horse is trained by Emmet Mullins and ride by jockey Sam Waley-Cohen. The winner in 2023 Grand National will earn share of £561k.

  • The runner-up in the Grand National, will earn share from the purse upto (£211k).
  • Third place holder awarded with prize money share of (£100k).
  • Fourth place holder in the race awarded with prize money of (£65k).
  • Lowest prize money which will be awarded in the competition will be for 10th place holder which is upto (£5k).
