The upcoming season of WorldSBK is announced, the first race will take place in the month of February at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, in Australia. Superbike World Championship teams announced the riders line-ups for the season 2023. Jonathan Rea, Dominique Aegerter and Álvaro Bautista hold top contract deals with the WorldSBK teams. What is Potential Bonus how much riders earn?

Potential Bonus is awarded to the riders in MotoGP and Superbike Championship if they retain their position in the top drivers standings for another year. If a rider finished third in the season, the team offered him contract which include potential bonus to finish in the top 5 position. It depends on the teams how much they offered to the riders in the of bonuses. The top three riders earn most money from potential bonuses.

How Much Riders Earn from Prize Money?

The official information regarding WorldSBK prize money not revealed yet however back in year 2018, a source reported that WSBK riders earn based on their standings in the points table. The first place rider earn share of $200k from the prize money, $175k awarded to second place rider and third place rider receive share of $100k.

Scott Reading : Salary $650k :
Scott Redding Salary Contract

Scott Reading is hopeful to win the WorldSBK championship title this year. He hold contract with BMW Motorrad in 2023 worth of $650k and if retain the top position in the season earn potential bonus upto $300k.
