The official details of Women’s World Cup prize money 2023 revealed. As per sources the winning team earn guaranteed $10.5m and winning team player will earn share of $270k each. The runner-up team will earn share of $7.5m guaranteed. These earnings include players win bonus of $195k each and $3.01m as association bonus.

All 32 teams guaranteed $1.53m as of participations fees. Actual prize money for winners reported $4.29m but including all money earned from group stage. Participation fees increase the champions earnings to $10.5m. Runner-up official prize money reported $3.015m but including all earnings group stages, participation fees increase the revenue of team of $7.5m.

How much will the players make in Women’s World Cup?

A small prize money adjusted for each player playing in the women’s world cup 2023. According to reports it’s confirmed that almost $30k guaranteed for each player of the team. Huge chunk of prize fund distributed among 732 players which is something new to this competition in last eight years. Each player on the winning team earn share of $270k, runner-up team players rewarded with prize money $195k, third place team players earn share of $180k and fourth place team players earn share of $165k each.

All member associations also receive some fund which will later use for the development program back in their countries, Associations earn share based on the performance maximum can be distributed among winners and runner-ups of the competition. The difference between men and women’s world cup prize money getting lower after each competitions. The FIFA World Cup held in Qatar last year had prize money of $330m while women’s world cup prize money increased to $110m from ($30m) in year 2019.
