Mitsubishi Electric this year earn the rights for the upcoming ASEAN Football Federation Championship. They will sponsor the tournament while last year the sponsorship rights hold by Suzuki Motors. The first match of the event take place on 20th December just after FIFA World Cup 2022. The 14th edition of AFF Championship completed on 16 January 2023.
